Bosses Day
This isn’t a paper craft related post but I wanted to share a few pictures form my offices’ Boss’s day celebration. After A LOT of inner office politics and un needed drama, I was happy to see the day go but in the end we were able to sit down together and enjoy a meal together while honoring our bosses. A wonderful local place catered and we went with a fall theme for decor. Being the queen of all things fall I was able to help
out with most of the decorations.
This centerpiece to the left is borrowed from my dining room table. I love using real gourds. The cats love them even more. They are constantly licking them - weirdos! We had 3 tables set up for people to sit and eat at. One is much larger than the other 2 and this basket was placed in the center of the large table with 2 fall topiaries on each side. ![]()
To the right is a pic of the whole table.
The luncheon was held in the board room where the school board holds their stuff. That’s why you can see random odd things on the walls around the room and the big ugly blue chairs
Here’s a nice shot of the other table setting. This was the setup for 2 tables. We used a beautiful (yet plastic … imagine that!) gold table cloth with a maroon plastic runner. Placed 3 topiaries on each table with fall colored votive candles between the topiaries. Scattered leaves put a nice finishing touch on the whole thing.
I loved doing the decorations for this. It was fun and turned out beautifully. We had corns stalks wrapped in amber lights in one corner and a scarecrow in another. The Banquet tables were also outfitted for the season.
That’s it for today. Happy Bosses day to all of you bosses!
